things to remember

best thing all day (the internet didn't want me to share and kept breaking my link for no reason... frickin weird.)

I say “Out” to every negative thought that comes to my mind. No person, place, or thing has any power over me, for I am the only thinker in my mind. I create my own reality and everyone in it. – Louise Hay

oooh... so after all that planning... this is all i need for the zombie apocalypse?!

We don’t give up on them. Every saint has a past, every sinner has a future. We’ll keep on working," Warren Buffett in regards to trying to get 40 of America's wealthiest to give half their fortunes to charity. (They have so far gotten 34!!!)

I love this. I have read several articles over the years about Warren Buffet. Including an article that stated he created a will that detailed he would be giving his remaining fortune after he passed away to charities and none to his children. Some may have the immediate reaction that those kids must be pissed! But rich kids don't need to be spoiled snobs just because they were 'raised with money' I find it irritating that so often people forget the most important factor here... kids are raised by their parents! If the parents teach the kids to be humble and respectful no matter how much money they have chances are they WILL LISTEN! Apparently, Warren Buffet taught his kids from a young age that they had to make it on their own just like he did. He strongly believes that if someone puts their mind to making a dream come true they CAN. Life is hard and making a dream come true won't always be easy, and sometimes people may not think their dream was worth it in the end. But that's all part of the journey. Think long and hard about your dream, make sure its what you want, and go for it. It will happen if you're not detered. Those who have their dreams answered deserve it because they didn't quit when the chips were down.
Particularly like this passage from the article:

"Bloomberg, who made the bulk of his estimated $17.5 billion fortune from financial news and information services company Bloomberg L.P., said it didn't make sense to leave everything to his children and have them go through life as members of "the lucky sperm club."

Damn straight!! I'm sure the kids get frustrated with this logic when their having a hard time with life. But don't we all? In the long run I'm sure they apprieciate being given the chance to make something of themselves for themselves.

also,

Finally.

"I'm not listening to a word you say... I am more focused on the twins in my head"

I'm a panda too right? (aka 'are you my lama mama?)

Blimp

Apparently this article sites that fixed wing aircrafts are going to be replaced in as little as the next decade by blimps. Didn't archer already cover this story line?

I am not opposed to this idea at all, if there are blimp pirates :D I don't think anyone that flies regularly (maybe excluding business class) are not happy with the packed seating arrangement. No one I know LIKES the silly one-serving friends made on airplanes to avoid the awkward, can you stand up i need to get to the bathroom... yes I realize you were sleeping... conversation. If blimps were to take over... the damn well better keep those things roommie!

Gamers stick together ;)

This awesome canoe inspired many moments of daydreaming about colorado trips and New Zealand adventuring... oh the places I would go.
...and when I go to those places I will also bring this awesome bag jacket...

my love for bic pens started back in my high school days, back in the day where I would only day dream and doodle all day (probably dreaming about a time in my life where I would get paid to do just that...oh wait that day is here!). Anyways, being something of a doodle artist, I went through a wide variety of pens. i decided that the pic pen was most reliable and detail able. Thus a love story began. So here's a link to share how that object of love itself was born. Bic. I also haver learned via a previous stumble adventure that bic changed its name from Bich when it traveled to the states because they were worried people would pronounce it "bitch"

and you call yourself a g33k....
